Simple Plaster, two pounds.
Yellow Wax, three ounces.Melt together, and before the mass be-comes cold, add
Gum Ammoniac, \ of each,
Galbanum, j two ounces,dissolved at a slow beat in
Venice Turpentine, four ounces.Mix. (Ant.)
Amst. prescribes four pounds of plaster,four ounces of wax, four ounces of each ofthe gum resins, and three ounces of turpen-tine. — Batav. and Belg. — two pounds ofplaster, three ounces each, of wax, of gal-banum, of gum ammoniac, and of turpen-tine. — Olden. ; Pot. ; and Borus. — fourpounds of plaster, half a pound of wax, andfour ounces each, of gum ammoniac, of gal-banum, and of turpentine. — Sax. — eightparts of plaster, one part and a half of wax,and one each, of gum ammoniac, of gal-banum, and of turpentine.- — Ferr. — fivepounds of plaster, nine ounces of wax, fourof gum ammoniac, two of galbanum, andsix of turpentine.
R. Simple Plaster, four pounds and a half.Melt slowly, and add gradually a liquifiedmixture of
