Pierre qui en eil moinsornée Sc d’un travail moins déli-cat; je pris dans cette Rue le Cochede Bath qui eil à 9 Miles de Briftol,je trouvai auiîi cette Ville fort embel-lie, on l’embellifloit encore actuelle-ment par de nouveaux Bâtimens,elleeil très bien pavée. On y avoit bâtidepuis peu d’Années une magnifiqueChapelle; elle n’a qu’une Eglife Pa-roiifiale outre fon ancienne Cathédra-le; fes Bains d’Eaux chaudes (aqu<ffolis des Romains ) font fort connuesSc fréquentez ; Après avoir pafie 2jours à Bath , j’y pris le Coche pourLondres (^qui en eil éloigné de50 Mi-les Sc plus} où je terminai mon Vo-yage Sc finis ce Volume.

Mary Ratcliff ', it exceedseven the Cathedral both for theoutward 8c inward Workmanship ¡there (lands in it’s Yard a fine Crofswell adorn’d with Columns and another of about the fame form inTemple Street ; there are 2 more in theCity finer for the marble Statues ofKings 8c Queens See. wherewith theyare adorn’d viz. the high Crofs in theMarkett,S.Péftr’íCrofs in theStreetofthis Name but this lefs beautifull 8c a-dorn’d with only 8 crown’d Heads.I took in this Street the Coach forBath which lies 9 Miles from BrifiowS.
