Water, eighteen ounces.

Macerate for twenty four hours, and thenevaporate the strained infusion in a water-bath till three ounces of it only remain.Infuse the residuum of the preceding ope-ration in

Sulphuric ¿Ether, six ounces,

for twenty-four hours ; then strain withexpression, and mix the liquor with theaqueous tincture.

Dose, from ten to fifteen drops.

Pol. ; Borus. ;and Sax. one of herb and eight of œther.Dose, twenty drops or more, being gra-dually augmented, thrice a day.
