These were formerly prescribed to restorethe menstrual secretion, to hasten the ex-pulsion of the dead foetus, and to promotethe lochial discharge. — Dose, from half adram to one dram.

eight ounces, by measure.Triturate the Assafœtida with water,gradually added to it, till it form anemulsion.
