Il em-porta le Throne fur fes Compétiteursmalgré les Millions que répandit cettePrinceiTe pour le conferver dans faFamille, malgré ceux de France, pourle procurer dans la Diète d’EleCtionau Prince de Conti qui ne le méritoitpas moins par fes Qualités Héroiques,malgré le Primat qui avoit non-feule-ment fait le plus gros parti à ce Prin-ce , mais encore lui procura la plura-lité des Suffrages Sc le nomma Roi de"Pologne -, Angüße fut élû à une au-tre Diète pofferieure de fon Parti ,nommé par l’Evêque de Cnjavie 8c Cou-ronné à Cracovie par le même Evêque,à l’exemple de Battori qui le fût, com-me j’ai dit, par l’Evêque à'Uladifia-• vie , le Primat à qui en qualité d’Ar-chevêque de Gnesne cette Fonétion ap-partient, perfiftant toujours dans leParti du Prince de Conti.
En 1704. le Roi de Sttede fit afiem-bler une Diète à Varfovie 6c élire pourRoi de Pologne en la place d’ Anguß edont il étoit victorieux, Stamßas Le-zinsky Palatin de Posnanie dont j’avoisvu en 1700 le Pere Ambafladeur dece Monarque à Conflantinople -, J’ai dé-crit dans mon 1er.
