Un Milanvoyant le Rat, fondit dessus, & l'enlevant enleva aussi la Gre-nouïlle, & les mangea tous deux.E Rat & la Grenouille liez ensemble, & couchez dans le bassin, fontchacun un jet. Le Milan, en haut les aîles étenduës, vomit de l'eas-sur eux.FABLE XIX.The Rat and the Frag.Frog having a mind to drawn a Rat: propounds that hewill carry him upon his Back over the Pond. Mean whi-te the Trog fastens his legs about the Rat, not with intentionto carry keep him from falling of his back, as he said, but by thatmeans to him to the bottom of the water. A Kite espying theRat Dive, falls down upon him and snatching him soars aloftwith him, taking also the Trog devours them both.THE Rat and Frog both linked together lying with their bellies up-ward in the Laver and spouting out water.
