Digest, and distil a spirit marking 28 de-grees. (Amst.; Ant.)

Digest for twenty-four hours, and distilin a water-bath nearly to dryness ; pour theproduct upon fresh flowers, and re-distil.(Sard.)

Dan. directs two thirds of a mixture ofone pound of flowers and of six pounds ofproof spirit to be distilled, and the productto be re-distilled with half a pound of freshflowers. — Herbip. — one pound and a halfof flowers to be distilled with ten pounds ofalcohol, and the product to be re-distilledwith three ounces of flowers.
