AROMATIC FOMENTATION.

Fomentum aromaticum. (Augustin)R. Herb of Rosemary, half an ounce.

W- ter me ' I ofeach, three ounces.Infuse, and express.

INFUSED OIL OF ROSEMARY.

Oleum Rorismarini. (Hisp.)

R. Flowers, one part.

Olive Oil, three parts.

Digest for three or four days ; then boilto the consumption of the humidity, andexpress.

R. Tops of Rosemary, any quantity.Water, a sufficient quantity

to prevent erapyreunia. Distil.

Ant. prescribes three parts of flowers,and ten of water. Gai.l. five of flowers,and seven of water. Fuld. ; and Ljpf.one of flowers, and three of water. Swe-DiAUR one of flowers, and four of water. Dan. one of flowers, and six of water. Hans. ; Olden. ; Pol. ; Borus. ; andSax. one of flowers, and eight of water.Bavar. one of flowers, and nine of water. Austr. one of flowers, and twelve ofwater.R. Flowering Herb of Rosemary,

twenty-five parts.

Water, seventy-five parts.

Muriate of Soda, three parts.

Macerate for three days, and distil.

R. Expressed Oil of Nutmeg, one ounce.Oil of Rosemary, 1 , ,

-------- Amber, half a dram.

Balsam of Peru, one dram.

Triturate together. (Lipp.)

Piderit prescribes one ounce of oil ofnutmeg, one dram each, of oil of cloves andof oil of lavender, one scruple of oil of am-ber, and one dram and a half of balsam.Sax. one ounce of oil of nutmeg, onedram each, of oil of cloves and of oil ofrosemary, one scruple of oil of amber, andone dram and a half of balsam. Hass.one ounce of oil of nutmeg, one dram each,of oil of cloves and of oil of peppermint, onescruple of oil of amber, and one dram anda half of balsam. Van Mons three ouncesof oil of nutmeg, half an ounce each, of oilof cloves, of oil of lavender, and of oil ofamber, and two drams of balsam. Swe-diaur three drams of oil of nutmeg, onescruple each, of oil of cloves and of oil ofamber, and one dram and a half of balsam ;or, one ounce of oil of nutmeg, one drameach, of oil of cloves and of oil of lavender,one scruple of oil of amber, and one dramand a half of balsam. Dan. one ounce ofoil of nutmeg, half a dram each, of oil ofcloves, of oil of lavender, and of oil ofrosemary, half a scruple of oil of amber,and one dram of balsam.
