Macerate for ten days ; express, and fil-ter. (BrUGNATELLi)

Boiling Vinegar,

seven pounds and a half.Acetic Acid, half a pound.

Macerate for four days ; express, clarifywith cow's milk, strain, and add

Spirit of Rosemary,

Mix. (Fenn.)

of each, half an ounce.

Having digested these for two days, in amoderate heat, add

Herb of Wormwood,

Herb of Marjoram, one dram.

Digest again for two days ; then boil, and jstrain when cold. (Niemann)

Swedi aur prescribes one part of flower-ing herb, and four parts of water. Hisp. ;Hass. ; Pol.; Borus.; and Sax. one ofherb, and eight of water. Dan. one ofherb, and six of water. Ant. six of herb,and twenty of water. Gall. five of herb,and seven of water. Bavar. one of herb,and nine of water. Austr. one of herb,and twelve of water.

Water, seventy-five parts.

Muriate of Soda, three parts.
