These trochiscs are for injections withmilk or hydromel.

R. Gum Arabic, 1 of each> four drams .Tragacanth, J
Balsam of Peru, a sufficient quantity.Make pills of four grains each,
Dose, four or five, thrice a day, in chro-nic irritations of the stomach.

R. Gum Arabic, two pounds.
Water, a sufficient quantity.
Sugar, twenty-eight ounces.
Evaporate to the consistence of a verythick syrup. Add
Orange-flower Water, eight ounces.Pour into moulds.

four ounces.Boiling Water, half a pint.
Triturate, gradually adding thewater, till perfectly mixed.

Digest with frequent agitation tillthe gum is dissolved, and strain themucilage through linen.

Saunders prescribes one ounce and ahalf of gum and two pounds of water.R. Gum Arabic, one ounce.
Water, four pounds.
Syrup of Grape, two ounces.
Mix. (Pierquin)
Form. Hop. Fr. ; and Swediaur pre-scribe two drams of gum, one pound ofwater, half an ounce of simple syrup. —Disp. Cha. Paris — half an ounce of gum,two pounds of water, and one ounce of ho-ney. — Augustin — six drams of gum, twelveounces of water, and one ounce of syrup.

Hot Water, two pounds.
Syrup of Marshmallows, four ounces.
Heat till dissolved. (Ant. ; Herbip.)
