R. Glue, any quantity.
Dissolve it in a sufficient quantity of hotw T ater, add one fourth of sugar, concentratethe solution, and let it cool, that it may ge-latinize. (Brugnatelli)
Niemann prescribes six ounces of glue,and two of water or of decoction of cha-momile.
Dose, two ounces, half an hour beforethe paroxysm, two ounces, ten minutesafter, and two ounces, at the expiration oftwenty minutes.
R. Flemish Glue, one pound.
Water, six pounds.
Clarify the solution with white of egg,and add
White Sugar, one pound.
Boil slowly to one pound, and let it cool.(Niemann)
