R. Black Oxide of Iron, one ounce.
Cinnamon, two drams.
White Sugar, five ounces.
Mucilage of Tragacanth,
a sufficient quantity.
Make lozenges. (Ant.)
Van Mons prescribes four parts of oxide,one part of cinnamon, thirty-two parts ofsugar, and mucilage of gum arabic.

R. Black Oxide of Iron, half an ounce.Sub-carbonate of Potass, two scruples.

a sufficient quantity.
Mix. — Dose, the volume of a nutmeg,mor. ling and evening. It is said to be use-ful in chlorosis and leucorrhcea, when in-duced by debility or acidity of the prima?viae.
TONIC ELECTUARY.
Electuarium tonico-resohens. (Brera)
R. Cinchona, one ounce.
Black Oxide of Iron, two drams.
Sublimed Muriate of Ammonia,
one dram.Honey, a sufficient quantity.
Mix. — To be taken, in six doses, in thecourse of the day. It is employed in obsti-nate intermittents accompanied by chlorosisor abdominal engorgements.
RESOLVENT ELECTUARY.
Electuarium résolvent martiale diureticum.

Extract of Hemlock, twelve grains.

Black Oxide of Iron, one dram.
Oxymel, a sufficient quantity.
Mix.
It is prescribed in dropsical affectionsconnected with engorgements of the abdo-minal viscera.
