Oil of Bay, twenty parts.

Heat slowly, and add when melted,

Camphor, dissolved in a little

Oil of Juniper, two parts.

Cadet de Gassicodrt directs twoounces each, of lard, of beef suet, of oil ofbay, and of wax, to be melted together, andwhen nearly cold, half an ounce of cam-phor, dissolved in one ounce of alcohol, tobe added.
