In the latter of these two tables, the first column showsthe actuating weights, and the other three columns the num-ber of seconds, at a medium, in which 1 revolution wasmade, with each of the two sides of the hemisphere, and thelead alone.
Now, by deducting each weight without the hemisphere,from the corresponding weight with it, there remain theweights for its two sides, as below.
