Weighed the pendulum, and balanced it, for the centreof gravity. Its weight was found 19761b. The centre ofgravity measured 80 - 3, which at the beginning was 79'3, thechange being 1 inch, which is equally distributed among allthe numbers, but reduced by yu. after the iron band brokeoff. On the whole it appears that,
