It was proposed in a general chap-ter to attempt the conquest of theMorea, and there to fix the residenceof the Order : but the death of popeInnocent, the author of the plan,put an end to the project.
In a general chapter held in 1364,it was enacted, that the servants-of-arms should not be permitted towear the cross. At the same timereceivers were appointed in eachpriory for the responsions and taxespaid by every commandery to theOrder.
