Acidum Aceticum Ahomaticum. E. Aromatic vinegar , Vinegar ofthe Four Thieves. Acctum aromaticum allialum. P. Digest in ftijof acetic acid; Jj of the dried tops of rosemary; Jj of the driedleaves of sage ; Jss of the dried flowers of lavender; ^s of bruisedcloves, for seven days ; express the liquor, and filter through paper.See Henry. The Paris Ph. directs garlic, rue, wormwood, mint,camphor, ccc. to be added.Medicinally it is antiseptic and prophylactic of contagion in fever;stimulant in syncope.

Acidum Aceticum Camphoratum. E. D. Camphorated Vinegar.Triturate Jss of camphor with a little rectified spirit, and dissolve itin §vj of acetic acid.Medicinally it is stimulant, analeptic, and grateful in sick rooms.

Acidum Aceticum Concentratum. Ph. Stockholm. Acctum radi-calism Wcstendor/ii. Take acetate of copper deprived of all moistureby exposure to heat; distil by a gentle heat; and if the acid thusobtained have a green tinge, add one thirtieth part of prepared woodcharcoal, and re-distil. This preparation is similar to, but moreexpensive than, our distilled vinegar.
