There are alfo other things addedto this, not at all fuited for the Form,tho' agreeing in Virtues. This isalfo recommended in Confump-tions, as the former, to be dranktwo or three times in a day a littlewarm with Milk.
Emulfio Cretácea, The Chalk E-mulfion. ' Take white Chalk in' fine Powder, 5 iii. Barley-Water,' it iii. boil to it ii. when it is cold,' make into an Emulfion with the' four greater cold Seeds, ana 5 ii.' fweet Almonds N° viii. then add' Chalk in fine Powder, 5 iii. Pearl-' Sugar, I i. or q. f. to make it pa-} latable.'
This makes a pleafant Remedy ina Diarrhoea; but in Bates there isDiacodium order'd very injudici-ously, becaufe it deforms the Medi-cine ; which therefore, if wanted,may be given in fome other Vehi-cle : but this is an Error moft fallinto for want of better acquaintancewith officinal Management. Thisought to be (hook as often as taken,which may be two or three times ada)', about § iv. at once. It is alfoinfallible in removing the Heart-burn almoft inftantly.

This has the Virtues of the whiteDrink, but is alfo more emollient,and therefore preferable where theHumours are very (harp.
Emulfio Styptica, A Styptic E-mulfion. ' Take Comfrey-Root cut

* with which, and fweet Almond-■ blanched, white Poppy and Hens' bane Seeds, ana 5 fs. and white' Sugar, q. f. make an Emulfion,
* wherein dill'olve Sal Prunel, 5 i.' and Sugar of Lead, 3 i. S. A.'
It cools and thickens the Blood,clofes up the Mouths of the Vefiets,and is of fervice in bleeding at theNofe, Spitting of Blood, the He-morrhoids, and overflowing of theMenfes. The Dofe is f iv. two orthree times in a day, as Symptomsrequire.
Emulfio Edulcorans, An Edul-corating Emulfion. ' Take Barley-' Water, it ii. diflblve in it Gum' Arabic, 5 iii. and put thereto

This infallibly cures the Heart-burn, thickens and fweetens theBlood , is good in Stranguriesand Gonorrhoea's, and of" fervicein all Complaints from fharp Hu-mors.
