The Saffron of Iron is ill added,becaufe it will not diflblve fo in it,but will make it thick and irkfom totake ; if that is therefore to be de-pended upon, it is much better givenin a Bole, or fome fuch Form : TheSugar of Lead will indeed diflblve.This is fa id to cool and thicken ahot fharp Blood, and to ftrengthenand corrugate the Fibres, fo as toclofe up the Mouths of the Blood-Veflels, and ftop involuntary Fluxesof Blood. 5 iv. may be given twicein a day.
