Saffron, of each half a pound.Diftilled Water three pints.Maceratefortwenty-fourhours; then prefsand ftrain. Reduce the ftrained liquor, byevaporation, to a pound and an half, towhichadd the following, rubbed to a very fine pow-der.

Of the Compound powder of Crabs-clawsfixteen ounces by weight.

Cinnamon,

Nutmegs, of each two ounces by weight.

Cloves
