Pulp of Caffia,

------ of Prunes, of cach half a

pound.Coriander-feeds four ounces by

weight.Liquorice three ounces by weight.Double-refmed Sugar two poundsand an half.Powder the Senna with the Coriander-feeds,and fift out ten ounces of the mixt powder.Boil the remainder with the Figs and the Li-quorice, in four pints of diftilled Water, toone half; then prefs out and flrain the li-quor. Evaporate this ftrained liquor to theweight of about a pound and an half; thenadd the fugar, and make a fyrup ; add thisfyrup by degres to the pulps, and laftly mixin the powder.
