Calcined Zinc.

^Tp A K E of Zinc, broken.into fmall pieces,•*- eight ounces.

Caft the pieces of Zinc, at feverai timesinto an ignited, large, and deep, crucible,placed leaning, or half-upright, putting up-on it another crucible in fuch manner thatthe air may have free accefs to the burningZinc.

Take out the Calx as foon as it appears,andpafs its white and lighter part through afieve.
