CONSERVA SCILLAE.

CONSERVE OF SqUILL.

Take of frefh Squill one ounce by weight.

Double-refined fugar five ounces byweight.

Beat them together, in a mortar, into aConferve.

R E M A R K.

Conferve is dire&ed to be prepared in a fmall.quantity. to guard againft its Variation in ftrength.It may be given, to adults, from half a dram to twofcru ples, or more,—efpeciälly when frefh.

Keep all the Conferves in clofe veflels; e-fpecially thofe of Arum andSquill.
