Dim as a dream the houses
L
stand in their moonlit row, while with my cloak about me,dream in a dream, I go.
Bells in the high cathedral j
strike midnight, every chime
ringing : “ Behold the loved one, j
the place and now the time ! ” ,
Then to the moon my link-boywhose lucid torch has litthe lovers’ path I murmura lover’s thanks for it.
