The PREFACE.

Hale who was an Ornament to his Profeßton, after he had preßded with Ho-nour in the Exchequer, ( where Matters of this Nature are cognizable,) hathgnen this Opinion in his Analyfis of the Law p. 2.6. which was not tran-fiently given by him, for while he was chief Baron, this very Exemption tothe Heralds was folemnly allowed in Purfuance of this Charter, which is hereexhibited entire from the Original, becaufe the Copy printed by Mr. Rymervol. XV. p. 187, hath fever al Blanks in it.
