ALPHONSE THE FIFTH, KING OF ARRAGON.He is supposed to have been Elected in 1443, buthis Election seems to have become Void, probablyfrom Non-installation, and he was Re-elected 4thAugust 1450. (Vide pp. 76, 81.) In June 1453,Commissioners were appointed to receive him intothe Order, and in April 1456, the Robes were sentto him; but his Election was again considered Void,in consequence of his not having been Installed.Died June 1458.
