Storehouses near the Custom-house.

Four storehouses near the Custom-house, on thequay of the Grand Port, being in a most ruinousstate, were obliged to be rebuilt, and cost 62,010crowns. The rent amounted to 2,280 crowns,including the valuation made of that whichhad been ceded to the congregation for the gal-leys. The sum employed for building the saidstorehouses might therefore be considered as acapital placed out by the treasury at rather morethan three-and-a-half per cent. . . . 5,823 5 19
