equal weights of pulvis cornachini, and black sulphur of mercuryfresh prepared, make a powder, to be given in doses of 3j to 5ss,for worms.
Pulvis Tanaceti Compositus. Pharm. Stockholm. Compound TansyPowder. Take 5j each of the flowering tops of tansy, worm-seed,gamboge, nux vomica, and crystallized sulphate of iron ; reduceeach of the substances separately to fine powder, and mix.Medicinally the dose is gr. v to 9j, as a vermifuge, but it is doubtfulwhether it possesses any efficacy.
Pulvis Tartari Argillatus. Pharm. Stockholm. Take equal weightsof supertartrate of potass, Armenian bole, and white sugar; make animpalpable powder, sift through double linen, and blow into theeyes for specks of the cornea.
Pulvis Tragacanth.e Compositus. L. Compound Tragacanth Pow-der. Take Jjss each of tragacanth in powder, gum arabic in pow-der, and starch, and jiij of refined sugar; grind the starch andsugar together, then having added the tragacanth and gum arabic,mix them all. It is intended as a vehicle for calomel, nitre, ipeca-cuan, opium, &c, along with distilled water.It is to be recollected that the starch is insoluble in cold water, andtragacanth is also little soluble: besides it is separated from solutionby gum arabic. The preparation is therefore unscientific, or at leastinjudicious.

Pulvis Tunchinensis. Tonquin Powder. An antispasmodic, pre-pared by mixing gr. xx of powdered valerian root, gr. xvj of musk,and gr. yj of camphor.Dose from gr. x to jij or more.
