Collyriums are Medicines fuitedito the Eyes, tho they might as wellpafs under the general Appellation;of Lotions 5 and of thefe there arenone to any good Purpofe, but tocool and repel hot fharp Humours ;and therefore moil of the precedingbeing diluted, are proper : and theylikcwife more effectually anfwertheir end, if they be affifted by theinward ufe of Diuretks at the fametime.
