This is good againft all kinds ofFits and Convulflons that arife fromUterine Diforders, and too high anOrgafm of Spirits. It alfo helps todeterge the glandular Contortions,and make clear PafTage for the ner«vous Fluids in the miniiteft Fibres.Give as much as a Nutmeg, two orthree times in a day.

This is an excellent Cleanfer forWomen after Childbed, and greatlydeterges the Uterine Glands, fo as tofit all thofe parts again not only fortheir natural Secretion, butforfrefhImpregnation ; but it muft not beufed after Conception, for fear ofAbortion. It may be taken twicea day, as much as a Nutmeg.

This agrees admirably with (an-guín e Constitutions, who by fomeaccident labour under Uterine Ob-itruftions ; for it very powerfullybreaks thro' them, without givingthat Heat and Force to the BloodWhich Chalybeats fometimes do,and occafion that peculiar Furorwhich is difficult to allay : for thisrather damps the Spirits, and checkstheir exorbitant Salh'es, at the fametime it operates fo upon the Blood,by dividing and thinning it, as tocarry it thro' the Uterine VeiTels,and caufe a due Evacuation.
