This is indeed fit for an officinalMedicine, and is as eafily made in alarge quantity as a fmall one, andwill keep. It is contriv'd on pur-pofe againil the Gout, and ought tobe continued a long time to dnfwerExpectation. It greatly warms andftrengthens the Fibres, and thereforenot only contributes to a regularDigeftion and Concoftion of Juices,but prevents any foreign Matterslodging upon them ; especially inthe Joints, w'here it molt commonly'fixes, and fpoils their Offices, andgives Arthritic and Rheumatic Pains.The Dofe is the quantity of a Nut-meg twice a day, with a Glafs offjrrong Wine.

N° 94- but this muftnot be made- too thin, becaufe thatwill fettle to the bottom by reafonof its Weight.
