This differs not much from thePulvis Arthriticus Tumeri. It hasParacclfus for its Author, tho Crol-lius hath inferted it without fuchAcknowledgment. The calcin'dBones, being thofe of a Man, haveno greater matter in them, becaufethe Fire brings them to the fameCondition and Properties as thofeof any other Animal ; and there-fore the common burnt Harts-hornmay do as well. This is indeedfomewhat milder than that above-mention'd, and may be given to5 i. in the fame cafes.

It cleanfes the Womb,promotes the Mcnfes, warms theBlood, and wonderfully redoresdecay'd and diftemper'd Conftitu-tions : to be taken every Morningin a Glafs of White-wine from 5 i.to 5 ii. If a little S.ifron be added, itmakes it better : and efpecially forGirls from fix Years of Age to thefirft Eruption of the Menfes, who arepale, and have all the Marks of whatis called the Green-ficknefs : Fo foyoung does it many times appear.
