Thefe Flowers, tho not Co beau-tiful, are as good for ufe as thaformer ; and tho both the Oil, Spi-rit, and Flowers, acquire for theprelènt an Empyreumatical Scent,in fix or eight Months that willwear off, and they become veryfragrant.

After the fame manner may bemade the Oil, Spirit, and Flowers,or Volatile Salt of any Ballàm ; asTolu, Peru, and the like. TheSpiri?is Diuretic, but not very pleaiant,by reaibn of its Fmpyreuma. TheOil is accounted a good Vulnerary,both in external and internal Appli-cation ; and for inward ufe, if J ii. o?5 iii. of it be put into a Cucurbit,which is capable of holding a Gallonof Liquor, and to it ft v . or fe vi. ofWater, and fet in a Sand Furnace,luting on its Head and Receiver, witha gradual Fire till the Water is readyto boil ; the ipirituous Part of theOil will come over with the Water,of a fine Amber Colour, and a fra-grant Scent -. -which is an admirableinternal Medicine, a powerful Diu-retic, and by ibme reckon'd a Spe-cific againft the Stone and Gravelin the Kidneys and Bladder.
