f 66. Gummi Elemi, Id.This claims a place under this Clafs,upon the merit of the LinimentumArcei, or Unguer.tum e Gummi île-mi, in the College Difpmfatory, inwhich it is a principal Ingredient ¡and is in great account in Chirur-gical Practice, for a Digefter ; butit is little met with ellèwhere.
f6y, O s Sepia, Scuttle-TißjBone. This is white and lptingy,and lèems almoft to be calcitro bythe Sun. It is rough and abfter-five, and ulèd chiefly as a Denti-frice ; for it wonderfully cleanfesthe Gums, and whitens the Teeth.Some commend it in inward Ules,but it is now never met with inPrefcriptions of that kind.
