It is very hot, and vehementlypurges bilious and watry Humours.„p ,w-Another Species of the Laureola isrtc< --T called Cham&Ua, or Mezereon, thetÙTJl s ï ur i e Olive, and accounted of theTémale kind, as the preceding isthe Male. This is cultivated in Gar-dens, and hath the fame Virtues asthe former. The Thymeha, Spurge-Flax, is alfo of the fame Ciafs, andto be met with in the Phyflc Gar-dens. The Berries of this laft havethe fame Virtues, and are the GranaCuidta of the Shops, according tothe Opinion of the moil skilfufßo-tamfts amongft the Antients; butCordus and Schroder will have theofficinal Grana Cnidia to be theBerries of the Mezereon : but noneof thefe are now much ufed in Me-dicine.469.
