Pulvis aluminis compositüs.Take of Alum, four ounces ;

Kino, one ounce ;Mix them and reduce them to fine powder.

Pulvis aromaticus.Take of Cinnamon,

Cardamom seeds, andGinger, of each equal parts ;Mix them, and reduce to a very fine powder,which is to be kept in well closed glass vessels.

Pulvis cretae compositüs.

Take of Prepared chalk, four ounces ;

Cinnamon, in fine powder, one

drachm and a half;Nutmeg, in fine powder, a drachm ;Triturate them well together.

Pulvis cretae opiatus.

Take of Compound chalk powder, six ounces;

Powder of Opium, four scruples ;Triturate them together thoroughly.

PüLVERES EFFERVESCENTES.

Take of Tartaric acid, one ounce;

Bicarbonate of Soda, one ounce and54 grains ;
