This medicine has been celebrated under thename of Huxham's TinEiure. It is given as acorroborant and ftomachic, in dofes of two dramsor more, to convalefcents after long fevers; andfometimes, in larger dofes, for the eure of aguesin perfons averfe to taking Bark in fubftance. Thereis reafon to fear that thefe fpirituous remedies mayfometimes have led the way to dram-drinking, ef-pecially among the moredelicatepart of the humanrace, — a confideration certainly of the utmoft im-portance.

Take of the Ruft of Iron half a pound.Muriatic Acid three pounds.

Rectified Spirit of Wine threepints.
