Macerate, with a gentle heat, for fix hours;then boil to the meafure of five pints, addingtoward the end of the boiling the bark of the|-oot of Mezereon, and ftrain the liquor.

This decoction is given in dofes, from giv to3 viij, four times a day, in venereal nodes, &c.See Mezereon in the Mat. Med.
A medicine, which has had a confiderable faletinder the narrie of the Lifion Diet -Drink, is faid tobe a decoclion of 3'nj of SarfapariHa, %fe of Me-zereon, and 3*ij of crude Antimony, with Liquo-rice, &c. boiled in ifox to ibv. See Murray, App.Vol. 1. f. 338.

Take of thefrefh inner Bark of Elm, brul-fed, four ounces by weight.Diftilled Water four pints.Boil to two pints, and ftrain.
