Sal aramoniac two pounds.
Mix, and fublime. What remains at thebottom of the veffel mix by rubbing togetherwith the fublimed matter, and again fub-lime.

To fucceed in this preparation, (the Flores Mar-tis of the laft Difpenfatory,) Lewis fäys, it will beufeful to mix well the ingredients, to moiften themwith a little water, to dry the mafs, and to powderit in an iron mortar, reoeatino- this thrice.
