Calcined Antimony.

*TpAK.E of Antimony, powdered, by weighteight ounces.

Nitre, powdered, two pounds.

Mix, and caft it by degrees into a red hotcrucible. Burn the wliite matter about halfan hour; and, when cold, powder it } afterwhich wafli it with diftiiled water.
