Here the Magnefia is deprived of the fixed air,conftituting more than half its weight, without be-ing converted into a cauftic lime, and remaining e-qually mild with the preceding aerated Magnefia.lf fufficiently burned, it does not effervefce with a-cids, and therefore is held more applicable to com-plaints in the prima: vije of aduits, attended withflatulence, and often purges briflcly in the dofe ofadram or two.
