Haun, Collefl.Aqjkow adds, that the fear of thefe flowers doing mifchief,from the violence of their effects, is müch leflened, by thefuccefsful ufe made of their infufion, äs common drink, inwounds of the cavities, of the breaft particularly, by Schmuck-er, prineipal furgeon of the armies of the late (and I believeof the prefent) king of Pruffia.

The Root of Arnica has been of late employed in dy-fentery, eitheralone orjoined with other antifeptics, by CoUlitt, Stolle, &c.
