Take of Sulphuric jEther half a pint;Rectiiied Spirit one pint.

Take

of the Exlraet of spiked -Aloe eightounces;Bark of Canella two ounces ;VVine six pints ;Prool Spirit two pints.Bruise the Aloe into po-vdfr with white sand,havitig first freed it from all loreign matter ; pul-verize also the Canella Bark, and after havingmixed these togelher, affuse the Wine and Spiritupon theni. Let them roacerate for fourteen days,shaking them occasionally, and tlien filter.

VINUM IPECACUA1IJE.

Take of the bruised Root of Ipecacuanha twoounces;Wine two pints.Macerate these during fourteen days, andstrain.
