Young Thoron, who remained a captive, wasafterwards, at his mothers intercession in Jerusalem,sent with her to Petra andMontreale (by the Arabscalled Karak and Shaubec), which were to be hisransom; but these fortresses refused to surrender;so he was led back to his prison at Damascus, andhis mother fled to Tyre, then the only town inPalestine not yfet taken by Saladin . 3
