Limitation of the use of the barocyclonometer.The direction of the cyclones movementdetermined by means of the barocyclonometer, as described, has all the reliability which can besecured without telegraphic dispatches from places over which the center is passing in succession,provided the place of observation has been stationary during the interval between the tivo observertions, as, for instance, a station on land or a ship at anchor.
