An Act for the better regulating the futurcMarriages of the Royal Family.

"Most Gracious Sovereign,

"YVhereas your Majesty from your pater-"ual affection to your own family, and from"your Royal concern for the future welfare of"your people, and the honour and dignily of"your Crown, was graciously pleased to recom-"mend to your Parliament to take into llieirse-"rious consideration, whether it might not be"wise and expedient to supply the defect of"the laws now in heing, and by some new pro-"vision, more effectually to guard the descen-"dants of bis late Majesty King George II.
