The grim countenance of this good old Damedoes not indicate the same resignation as appearsin the former subject. Wholly occupied inmumbling her rosary, she pays no attention tothe sound of a dulcimer,, on which one of herconductors is playing. The other skeleton, im-patient of the slowness of the Old Woman's march,is employing menaces and blows to make her ad-vance.
