The whole amount of the grand-master’s revenue, accordsing to the above calculation, might be estimated in general atrather above four hundred thousand crowns, making aboutforty thousand pounds sterling.

The tiles given. by the kings of England and France tothe grand-master have been already mentioned, as well as thosebestowed on the order. The following is that given him in allpublic acts.

Dei Gratia, Domus Ilospitalis Sancti Joannis Hierosolimi-tani, Militaris Ordinis Sancti Sepulcri Dominici, et Ordinis SanctiAntonii Viennensis Magister Humilis , Panperumque Jesu ChristiCustos.

Letters were addressed to the grand-master in the follow-ing terms: Alla Sua Altezza Eminentissima il Gran-MaestroFra. N.

All the acts passed in the convent styled him Eminentissi-mo e reverendissimo Signor Gran-Maestro, Fra. N.
