We need not bring any more corroborating Circum-fiances of the Obfervation of the Chapter Ad, made Anno6 Elizabeth, as it relates to Kjiights-Subject, which hasbeen punctually performed ; but fince Strangers are thereinexcepted, it will not be amifs to note, that the Rule andPraCtice continued as was eftabliilied by King Henry VIII.„,•£ that they were inftalled in Seat? next to the Sovreign, according to the illuftrioufnefs of their Dignity an'Birth.

We (hall mention one Inftance, of the manner of placingboth Strangers and Knights-Subjcds at one and the fameTime. At the firft coming of King Charles I. to the Crown,there were of both Conditions to be inftalled in one Day,to wit, the Duke of Brunfmick a Stranger Prince, theEarls of Salisbury and Carlifle, Kjiigbts-SubjeEls, elededby King James I. in the 2ad Year of his Reign, and onthe 15th of May following, the Earls of Dorfet and Hollandwere eleded with the Vifcount Andover, and the DukeolCkevereux the 4th of July after. And when the re-moval of Stalls was propounded for the Admillion of thefe(even eled Knights, it was agreed too, that the Dukes ofhunfok!{ and Chevereux (hou’d be inftalled in the up-permoft Stall among Strangers, as King Henry VIII. hadbefore ordained, but the Kjiights-SubjeBs'va the lowermoftStalls, according to the priftine Pradice, as appears fromthe Decree, Anno 6 Elizabeth, and from the fectlementof Stalls then made, and thus intituled.

A remove of Banners and Stalls , at the Feaft ofSt. George., and Installation holden at Windfor,the 13, i4 ? 15 Days of December, Anno 1625.At which time were inftalled the Dukes ofRrunfwick, and Chevereux , the Earls of Salisbury,Carlijle, Holland, Dorfet, and the Vifcount An-dover, as follows.
