Their Badge is a Crofs of 8 Points of tawnyVelvet or Sattin, with a white Border fow’d on the leftSide of their Cloaks, and the Image of the Virgin Maryof Mount Carmel plac’d in the Middle, within a Rundleencompafs’d with Rays of Gold. They alio wear abouttheir Necks, in a tawny Silk Ribbon, the like Crofsof Gold5 but the Image of the faid Knights is ena-mel’d on both Sides. There Inveftiture is like that ofMalta.
